Wade Davis lecture in SLC

I'm so excited--at the library we found an Authors LIVE! flyer announcing ethnobotanist (and author of The Serpent and the Rainbow...) Wade Davis will be in Salt Lake on Feb 20th, at the Main Library Auditorium at 7pm. His lecture is entitled One River: The Life and Times of Richard Evans Schultes.

From the U of U's College of Humanities site:

"The Lost Amazon - Wade Davis Join National Geographic Explorer and Photographer Wade Davis as he follows the path of his mentor through the most remote and wild parts of the Amazon. This lecture is FREE and open to the public."

Did you go to his lecture?

I am a student of anthropology at the UofU and a huge fan of Wade Davis.

I had to give a presentation myself tonight, so I googled Wade Davis in hope of pulling up some audio streams and found your blog.

I am glad to see I am not the only person in salt lake to get excited about this kind of thing.

Hi Don--Unfortunately, I missed this; but they were supposed to carry it live on one of the local radio stations--hopefully it will be available for listening.
